About Us

 
The Innisfil Minor Baseball Association (IMBA) has been providing youth in our community and surrounding areas the opportunity to play the great game of baseball for over 25 years!
 

Our Mission

The IMBA is dedicated to encouraging youth of all ages to play, learn, and be involved in minor league baseball. 
We advocate for teamwork, cooperation, athleticism, fair play, and fun while providing a safe and supportive environment. 
Our organization fosters community engagement through coaching, umpiring, and volunteering.
 
IMBA is supported by a volunteer-based Board of Directors who design and facilitate programming, run training clinics, schedule umpires, and more! 
Many of our board members also coach teams and have children playing in the league.
 

Our Programs

IMBA offers a variety of baseball programs for youth ages 4 to 22, including: 
⚾ House League (Ages 4-11)
⚾ Travel League (Ages 13-18)
⚾ Rep & Select (Ages 9-22)
 
As Innisfil continues to grow, so does the IMBA! 
We are proud to be part of this thriving community and remain committed to providing high-quality baseball programming for our youth.
 

House League

IMBA's House League is available for ages 4 through 11, offering:
⚾ T-Ball Division for our youngest players learning the game.
⚾ 7U & 9U Divisions using pitching machines to develop hitting skills.
⚾11U Division, where players transition to live pitching.
All House League divisions are played within the Innisfil community.

Travel League

For players ages 13U to 18U, IMBA offers a Travel League that allows for gameplay with limited travel. 
Partnering with nearby towns and associations such as Barrie, this league ensures players can compete at a higher level while minimizing travel commitments. 
Some teams may also play within the South Simcoe Baseball Association (SSMBA), competing in towns such as Angus, Ivy, Everett, Orillia, Midland, and Wasaga Beach.
As our town continues to expand, we look forward to opportunities for growth in our House League divisions.
 

Rep & Select

For athletes looking for a higher level of competition, IMBA offers Rep and Select baseball starting at 9U. These programs provide:
⚾ More competitive gameplay
⚾ Expanded travel opportunities
⚾ Additional practices and winter training
⚾ Potential to compete at the Provincial and National levels
 
IMBA teams have a strong history of success, with multiple teams winning the York Simcoe Baseball Association (YSBA) championships and proudly representing Innisfil at the Ontario Baseball Association (OBA) Provincials.
