The Innisfil Minor Baseball Associate (IMBA) has been providing youth in our community, and its surrounding areas, the opportunity to play the great game of baseball for over 20 years now!

IMBA Mission is to encourage youth of all ages to play, learn and be involved in minor league baseball; to advocate teamwork, cooperation, athleticism, fair play and fun; to provide a safe and encouraging environment; and to foster community engagement through coaching, umpiring, and volunteering.

IMBA is supported by a Volunteer based Board of Directors that design and facilitate programming, run training clinics, schedule umpires and much more! Many of these Board Members also coach teams and have children playing in this league!

IMBA offers a variety of baseball programming for youth ages 4 to 18, including House League, Travel League and Rep & Select.  For the 2023 season, the IMBA is also expanding our team play to the age of 22, offering a 22U Rep team. As the Town of Innisfil grows so does the IMBA!  We are excited to be a part of this great community!
House League 

The IMBA offers house league programming for ages 4 through 11, offering a T-Ball division for our youngest players getting started with baseball; a 7U division and a 9U division, both of which have pitching machines used and an 11U division which introduces pitching. All of these divisions are played within the community of Innisfil.

Travel League
 
The IMBA also offers travel leagues for ages 13U to 18U that can be played in partnership with adjacent Towns/Associations such as Barrie to help keep the travel limited OR with the SSMBA (South Simcoe Baseball Association) which can see travel to such towns as Angus, Ivy, Everett, Orillia, Midland, Wasaga Beach. As the town continues to grow there may be future opportunities to convert these age groups into House League divisions!

Rep & Select

For Athletes looking to participate in more competitive level baseball, the IMBA offers Rep and Select level programming starting at 9U.  Over the years the IMBA has had teams win the YSBAs (York Simcoe Baseball Association) and go on to represent our Town on the Provincial stage! The Rep and Select level programs offer more competitive play, a larger travel radius, more practices, winter training and the opportunity to play at a Provincial and potentially a National level!

The IMBA is grateful for the support of the community as well as our members and is committed to giving kids the opportunity to play, learn and excel at the game of baseball.
