Congratulations Rookie Select - 2nd Place at YSBA

After finishing 5th place in the regular season, the IMBA Rookie Select team went three wins in a row including defeating an undefeated Thornhill team to advance through the winners bracket.  They went up against Collingwood (no losses on the season) to advance straight to the finals.  Unfortunately they came up short so they had to take on the third place Markham Mariners.  Winning that game by 5 runs they faced Collingwood had to go up one more time.  Unfortuntely the Cardinals came up a little short, finishing with second place in the YSBA's!
