IMBA 2017 AGM

The 2017 IMBA AGM was held last night at the Stroud Firehall.  Thanks to our board members, as well as the community members who attended.

A more detailed summary of the AGM, including the minutes from the meeting will be posted online shortly once they have been summarized and put into digital format.

However, in the interim we did want to officially welcome some new board members who have joined our executive.  

Prior to that, we wanted to express our thanks and gratitude to Lindsay Loevenmark who has been our Director of Rep and Select the past two years, as decided to step away from the role.  The board thanks Lindsay for all of her time, effort and contributions over the last 2-years - she will be missed greatly!

Director of Rep and Select Program - David Clark

David is a long-time coach with Innisfil Minor Baseball, including being the Head coach of the 2018 Peewee Select team next season.  David has been a passionate and committed member of the IMBA family for many years and we are thrilled to welcome him onto the IMBA executive!

Director of Marketing and Communications - Cynthia Gordon

This is a newly created role by the board that will focus on ensuring IMBA related events/activities are properly promoted and communicated.  Cynthia has been very involved as a team parent in our league for a number of years, including acting as the team manager for the last 3 years at the Rep/Select level.  The board is excited to have Cynthia on the team!

Associate Director - House League - Ian Anderson

This is another newly created role intended to both provide support to the Director of House League as well as to act on behalf of the IMBA with regards to any issues pertaining to the IMBA/Bradford House League Partnership.  Ian has not only been heavily involved as a coach with the IMBA, but also led our Getting Started with Baseball Winter Clinic last season.  The executive is thrilled to have Ian on-board!

IMBA Convenor - Owen Mayville

This position is being transitioned from Brent (IMBA President) to Owen.  Owen, has like the other new board members been a very active participant in the IMBA over the past few years, most recently as head coach of one of our Peewee House League team's last season. The board is excited to welcome him to the team!

The new board members will be added officially to our IMBA Board page shortly once all the logistics are in-place!
