Innisfil Tyke #1 wins innaugural local league championship

Innisfil Tyke #1 local league team has captured the innaugural IMBA/Bradford Local League Tyke Championship.
After a well-played and hard fought weekend of baseball here in Innisfil, the Innisfil Tyke #1 local league team has captured the innaugural IMBA/Bradform Local League Tyke Championship.
Innisfil Team #1 finished the season in first place, but had to dig down deep to come out on top in the playoffs. After losing a game on Saturday to Bradford Skwarchuk #1, Innisfil came back to beat Bradford Bellamy in the semi-finals. They then had to go against Bradford #1 again, putting them in a do or die elimination game. They won the first game, then took the championship game winning a thrilling, tightly contested game by a single run, winning 9-8.
